Gary is licensed in the state of Wisconsin as a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. He is a member in good standing with the National Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists. Sixteen years ago Gary completed extensive training in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Clinical Hypnotherapy and Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy. He studied NLP and Clinical Hypnosis at Anchor Point Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since that time he has completed Pain Management training in Los Angeles, Smoking Cessation instruction in San Jose and Past Life Regression training in Santa Fe, New Mexico and again in Virginia.

Trained in the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) process Gary uses this skill as an adjunct to other therapeutic modalities in creating lasting solutions for behavior issues and behavior change. He supports the idea that addictive behaviors are manageable and under the control of the affected person.

He was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin and lived his youth in Point Beach State Forest, on the shores of Lake Michigan. Later he attended the University of Wisconsin and graduated Magna Cum Laude with an undergraduate degree in the business field. He holds graduate degrees in Mental Health and Vocational Rehabilitation. While studying Mental Health Gary specialized in the core areas of addictive behaviors and eating disorders.

Gary now incorporates his education and experience into a daily practice of helping individuals overcome addictive behaviors, substance abuse or any type of excessive mind chatter issues that appear to lead to "excess" in many aspects of daily life.

In 2000 Gary was certified as a REIKI Master by Dr. Dawn Pappous of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Ask Gary about his encounter with "Tiny", an adult Pygmy sperm whale which beached itself on Vero Beach, Florida. Gary spent many hours sharing the REIKI experience with Tiny.

Gary's success is the result of a lifetime of education, training and experience. He is proficient in individual and group counseling as well as telephonic hypnosis and SKYPE therapy.
